Most people who try trading start with an account and no education, and most of them lose. Opheleo Academy was set up to reverse the order. We are an education company, operated by Opheleo Learning & Development Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202641793H) in Singapore. Our courses teach method and process, and every exercise is graded and returned with written feedback.
Structured courses with a published syllabus, recorded lessons you can revisit, worksheets, and knowledge checks you can fail.
Every exercise runs on a demo environment with virtual funds. No identity check, no money held, no prompt to fund anything.
You finish with a written plan and an honest answer about whether this is for you. Either answer is a good outcome.
The questions students and regulators both ask
Is Opheleo Academy a broker?
No. The academy is an education company. We do not offer trading accounts, execute trades, or hold client funds.
Do I need to open a trading account to take a course?
No. Every exercise runs on the academy demo environment, which uses virtual funds, requires no identity verification and never prompts you to open or fund a live account. We do not require, ask or refer students to open a live trading account anywhere.
Are you connected to any broker?
Opheleo Academy is an independently operated education company. It shares a brand name with a separately owned brokerage group. The academy does not offer, promote or arrange brokerage services, does not refer students to any broker, and receives no payment linked to any student opening or funding a trading account. Do you give trade signals or tell me what to buy?
No. We teach methods of analysis and risk management. We do not provide investment advice or recommendations of any kind.
Is Opheleo Academy licensed?
Opheleo Academy is an education provider. It does not advise on, deal in, or arrange any investment product, and therefore does not hold or require a financial services licence in any jurisdiction. If you need advice about your own situation, consult a licensed adviser where you live.
What is your refund policy?
Self paced programs: full refund within 14 days of purchase if you have completed less than 25% of the content. Mentorship Cohort and Professional Track: full refund up to 7 days before the start date, 50% within 7 days, none once the first session has run. The full policy is linked in the footer.
How will the charge appear on my card statement?
As OPHELEO ACADEMY. If you do not recognise a charge, contact us before contacting your bank and we will resolve it quickly.
How long do I have access to a course?
Twelve months from the date of purchase, unless a longer period is stated on the course page.
Can I join from another time zone?
Yes. Live sessions run on Zoom in GMT+8 and recordings are available within 24 hours. Cohort and private session times are agreed at enrolment, and private sessions can be scheduled outside GMT+8 business hours.
Can I lose money by taking a course?
You cannot lose money by studying. You can lose money by trading, including everything you deposit with any broker, and trading leveraged products is not suitable for everyone. Our courses are designed to help you understand that risk, not remove it.
Which countries do you serve?
Our courses are available internationally, subject to local law. We do not offer courses to residents of the United States, Canada, or any country where local law restricts this kind of education.
Who do I contact with a complaint?
Email support@opheleoacademy.com with your order number if you have one. We acknowledge complaints within two business days and aim to resolve them within ten.
